TN gets Rs.7.54 cr for Silk Park

Tamil Nadu Government allocated Rs.7.54 crore for establishing Arignar Anna Handloom and Silk Park in Kancheepuram district under the Integrated Textile Park Project (ITPP).

Chief Minister Jayalalithaa ordered allocation of the amount, which is nine percent of the total project cost of Rs.83.83 crore to set up the park in over 75 acres at Keezhkathirpur in Kancheepuram district, an official press release said.

Today the whole day went in identifying a vendor for brochure designing..doing it and printing...Hopefully before Monday i should have the brochures...

Phew...Finally got the DTCP Approval seal and sketch....Its been post poned and delayed like anything...Now i know what our bureacracy can do...
Because of these delays the civil works were also suspended. Will resume in full swing to complete the entrance gate and final painting... Pre launch in the next few days....

Formation of the layout

The layout has been named as "Saraswathi Nagar". The final papers should come through this week as all the measurements were taken over last weekend. Fencing work has started all the poles have been erected. The plot demarcation stones were also marked and laid. This week the chain link mesh would be put up and painting of poles and stones would start. On target to launch it in April.

Today did the pooja on the site. Tomorrow the levelling of the place work will start.... Expect launch for Tamil New year....

Its taking more time than anticipated with our red tapes....Area acquired...Layout finalization and development to start next week.... To launch it around mid march...
