অসম বিধানসভা নিৰ্বাচন ২০২৬-ৰ ফলাফল ঘোষণাৰ পাছত সমগ্ৰ ৰাজ্যতে এক মিশ্ৰিত প্ৰতিক্ৰিয়াৰ সৃষ্টি হৈছে। উত্তৰ-পূৰ্বাঞ্চলৰ সচেতন নাগৰিক সমাজ আৰু আমাক বিশ্বাস কৰা প্ৰতিজন ভোটাৰৰ বাবে মই, জিণ্টু পাটগিৰি, লৈ আনিছোঁ এই 'ৰাজহুৱা মুকলি চিঠি'।

• নিৰ্বাচনী বিভাগৰ স্বচ্ছতা : গণতন্ত্ৰৰ স্তম্ভ নিৰ্বাচনী বিভাগৰ নিৰপেক্ষতাক লৈ জনসাধাৰণৰ মাজত সৃষ্টি হোৱা সন্দেহ দূৰ কৰিবলৈ আমি এক উচ্চস্তৰীয় তদন্তৰ দাবী জনাইছোঁ।
• সংগ্ৰামী অভিনন্দন : নিৰ্বাচনৰ জিকা-হৰাই আমাৰ মাটিৰ যুঁজ স্তব্ধ কৰিব নোৱাৰে। শ্ৰদ্ধাৰ অখিল গগৈ ডাঙৰীয়া আৰু মেহবুব মুক্তাৰ ডাঙৰীয়াৰ বিজয়ে প্ৰমাণ কৰিছে যে ৰাইজৰ আস্থা আজিও সংগ্ৰামী কণ্ঠৰ ওপৰত আছে।
• ভৱিষ্যতৰ সংকল্প : পৰাজয় মানেই থমকি ৰোৱা নহয়। উত্তৰ-পূৰ্বাঞ্চলৰ আঠোখন ৰাজ্যৰ যুৱ সমাজক একগোট হৈ চৰকাৰৰ জনবিৰোধী আৰু খিলঞ্জীয়া বিৰোধী নীতিৰ বিৰুদ্ধে ৰাজপথৰ সংগ্ৰাম অধিক তীব্ৰতৰ কৰিবলৈ আহ্বান জনাইছোঁ।

A Bold Call in the People’s Court "The Battle for Land and People Shall Continue!"

Following the announcement of the 2026 Assam Assembly Election results, a mixed reaction has emerged across the state. For the conscious citizens of the Northeast and every voter who believed in us, I, Jintu Patgiri, present this ‘Public Open Letter.’

Victory and defeat in elections are temporary processes, but the struggle to protect our nation’s (community’s) existence is an eternal journey. Through this letter, we raise several important questions and resolves-

• ​The Nature of the Mandate and Anomalies : The strong wave of change seen among the people before the election was not reflected in the results, raising questions about the sanctity of democracy. It is a matter of deep introspection as to whose path was made easier by the division of opposition votes.
• Transparency of the Election Department : To dispel the doubts arising among the public regarding the neutrality of the Election Department—a pillar of democracy—we demand a high-level inquiry.
• ​Revolutionary Congratulations : Winning or losing an election cannot stop our struggle for the soil. The victories of respected Akhil Gogoi Dangoriya and Mehbub Muktar Dangoriya prove that the people’s trust still lies with the voice of struggle.
• Future Resolve : Defeat does not mean stopping. I call upon the youth of the eight states of the Northeast to unite and intensify the struggle on the streets against the government's anti-people and anti-indigenous policies.

• ​মেট্ৰিকৰ ফলাফল আৰু শৈক্ষিক অৱনতি :
চৰকাৰী উৎসৱ-পাৰ্বনৰ দীঘলীয়া তালিকাই ছাত্ৰ-ছাত্ৰীক পঢ়া-শুনাৰ পৰা আঁতৰাই ৰাখিছে। যাৰ ফলস্বৰূপ আজি মেট্ৰিকৰ দৰে গুৰুত্বপূৰ্ণ পৰীক্ষাত ৰাজ্যৰ ফলাফল নিম্নগামী হৈছে। শিক্ষাৰ্থীৰ অমূল্য সময় নষ্ট কৰি চৰকাৰী সফলতাৰ ঢাক-ঢোল বজোৱাটো কিমান যুক্তিসংগত? নে চৰকাৰে বিচাৰে আমাৰ ল’ৰা-ছোৱালী পঢ়া-শুনাতকৈ তালি বজোৱাতহে আগৰণুৱা হওক?

প্ৰধান শিক্ষয়িত্ৰীগৰাকীৰ অভিযোগ অনুসৰি, চৰকাৰী অনুষ্ঠানত ছাত্ৰ-ছাত্ৰীক উপস্থিত নকৰালে কৰ্তৃপক্ষক ভাবুকি প্ৰদান কৰা হয়। এয়া গণতন্ত্ৰৰ বাবে লজ্জাজনক। বিদ্যালয় এখন জ্ঞানৰ মন্দিৰ নে চৰকাৰী বিজ্ঞাপনৰ আখৰা থলী? শিক্ষক-শিক্ষয়িত্ৰীক মানসিক চাপত ৰাখি কেনেকৈ এক সুস্থ শৈক্ষিক পৰিৱেশ আশা কৰিব পাৰি?

• খিলঞ্জীয়াৰ ভৱিষ্যত সুৰক্ষা :
উত্তৰ-পূৰ্বাঞ্চলৰ খিলঞ্জীয়া আৰু জনজাতীয় ছাত্ৰ-ছাত্ৰীসকলক যদি শিক্ষাৰ পৰিবৰ্তে কেৱল চৰকাৰী মেলাৰ সঁজুলি হিচাপে ব্যৱহাৰ কৰা হয়, তেন্তে আমাৰ স্বাধিকাৰ আৰু ভূমি ৰক্ষাৰ সংগ্ৰামক ভৱিষ্যতে কোনে বৌদ্ধিক নেতৃত্ব দিব? আমাৰ নতুন প্ৰজন্মক শৈক্ষিকভাৱে দুৰ্বল কৰাৰ এয়া এক সুপৰিকল্পিত ষড়যন্ত্ৰ নেকি?

চৰকাৰী আঁচনিৰ প্ৰচাৰৰ বাবে শিক্ষাৰ্থীক ঢাল হিচাপে ব্যৱহাৰ কৰা বন্ধ হওক। বিদ্যালয়ৰ শৈক্ষিক কেলেণ্ডাৰৰ ওপৰত চৰকাৰী যন্ত্ৰৰ হস্তক্ষেপ আমি কোনো কাৰণতে সহ্য নকৰোঁ। গুণগত শিক্ষা আৰু উন্নত ভৱিষ্যতৰ বাবে চৰকাৰে জবাবদিহি হ'ব লাগিব।

Stop Using Students for Political Festivities!

The recent outburst of a dedicated Headmistress regarding the state of Assam's education system is a wake-up call for society. Using classrooms as tools for government events and treating students as mere "crowds" is crippling the intellectual foundation of our next generation.

Our Key Concerns and Protests :

• Declining Academic Standards : The endless list of government festivals keeps students away from their studies. This has led to a direct decline in crucial exam results like the Matriculation (HSLC). Is it justified to waste students' precious time to celebrate government achievements?

• The Culture of Threats : It is reported that school authorities are threatened if they fail to produce students for government functions. This is shameful for a democracy. Are schools temples of knowledge or venues for government advertisements?

• Threat to Indigenous Future : If the indigenous and tribal students of the Northeast are treated as tools for government fairs instead of being educated, who will provide intellectual leadership for our future struggles? Is this a conspiracy to keep the new generation intellectually weak?

Our Demand
We demand an immediate end to using students for political branding. Government interference in the academic calendar will not be tolerated. We condemn this system on behalf of the conscious youth and various national organizations of the Northeast. Free education from political influence.

A fierce challenge on behalf of the National and Tribal Organizations of Assam and the North East.

Rongali Bihu, which flows through the veins of the Assamese people, is not just a festival; it is our heartbeat and national identity. It is deeply unfortunate that a Supervisor of the Bodobazar ICDS project has shown utter disregard for this sacred national festival by ordering workers and helpers to work during the Bihu holidays. This is an extreme insult to our national heritage.

Our Urgent Questions and Demands :
1/ On what grounds did the Bodobazar ICDS Sector Supervisor order workers and helpers to work when the entire Assam is immersed in the joy of Bihu?
2/ ​Why was the holiday for our national festival excluded from the schedule, thereby undermining its dignity? What is the reason behind this confusion?
3/ On behalf of the national and tribal organizations of Assam and the Northeast, we strongly protest this and demand a clear explanation from the departmental authorities. We want answers!

​As members who continuously fight for the dignity of the indigenous people and the protection of our national culture, we will never tolerate such negligence toward our festival. Such an arbitrary order by a Supervisor goes against our national self-respect.

May Bihu remove the clouds of division from our society and herald the sun of harmony. I pray that we find new inspiration to move forward unitedly for the land rights of the indigenous people, tribal autonomy, and the holistic development of the Northeast. ​On the eve of the Assam Assembly elections, I am deeply concerned by the ongoing electoral violence and the undemocratic atmosphere prevailing across the state. From Naduar to Jalukbari, the brutal attacks on candidates and workers are an ominous sign for our healthy social fabric.
​Aligning myself with the recent statement of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) Opposition Coordination Committee, I want to make it clear—the voice working for the indigenous people cannot be silenced with sticks, weapons, or threats.

• Neutral Elections : An environment must be ensured where every citizen can choose their preferred representative without any fear.
• Punish the Culprits : The Election Commission must take strict action against the miscreants involved in the incidents at Jalukbari and Naduar.
• ​Active Administration : The police administration must fulfill its constitutional duties without favoring any political party.

Our struggle for the land rights of the Northeast and the interests of the indigenous people will not be deterred by such electoral violence. I stand with you always in this fight to save democracy.

The Existence of Assam's National Organizations Cannot Be Abolished by Political Orders I Jintu Patgiri’s Fierce Challenge

BJP leader Dilip Saikia's comment suggesting that the AJYCP (Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuba Chatra Parishad) should "shut down and transform into a political party" has deeply hurt the powerful nationalist sentiments of Assam. Responding to this, prominent youth voice and social activist I Jintu Patgiri has clarified a strong and resolute stance.

The Legacy of Non-Political Struggle AJYCP is a completely non-political organization. Its activities are not governed by the calculations of electoral victory or defeat; rather, they are driven by the resolution of fundamental issues facing the indigenous people of Assam. For any political party to order the "closure" of such an organization is a clear manifestation of an authoritarian mindset.
Moral Support for Regionalism Since AJYCP believes in nationalist and regionalist ideologies, it is natural to extend moral support to regional forces formed in the national interest. It is the duty of every Assamese who believes in nationalism to support the uncompromising fight led by figures like Lurinjoyti Gogoi against the ruling party, which has endangered Assam's identity by imposing the CAA.
​A Conspiracy to Silence the Streets The ruling party wants all national organizations to limit themselves to electoral politics so that there is no voice left to protest against the government on the streets. It is the responsibility of each of us to protect the glory and dignity of this sacred land of Koch King Bijit Narayan. It is an ultimate insult to us to roll out the red carpet for an "outsider" leader who was already rejected and driven away by the conscious citizens of the Fakiragram constituency of BTC.

​Under no circumstances will we hand over our land and power to outsiders. I request every worker from Bijni currently in that leader’s party—the motherland is greater than any political party. Stand up against this outsider leader.

• Uproot outsider forces from Bijni.
• Support a local leader from our own soil in the elections.

​We vehemently condemn the controversial act committed by the non-Assamese BJP candidate, Vijay Gupta, who recently conducted an election campaign inside a sacred educational institution. A school is a center for the pursuit of knowledge, not a venue for any political party's propaganda.

All our organizations view this act as a severe blow to the educational environment of Assam.

Our Clear Questions and Demands :
• How did a "non-Assamese" candidate find the courage to trample upon the emotions of our land and the sanctity of education?
• Why hasn't the Election Commission taken strict action against Vijay Gupta for violating rules in a sensitive location like a school?
• This act of playing with the future of students for the sake of political interests will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
• The Election Commission must take this matter seriously and initiate appropriate legal action.
• ​Educational institutions must be kept away from political entanglements.

​We remain ever-vigilant and active in protecting the dignity of the indigenous people and the sanctity of education.
