Pharma road via Takkalpalli!
Revenue officials inspect the site and plan to build a double road from Nagarjunasagar Road directly to Pharmacity, September 15: Officials are working on the construction of a double road from Nagarjunasagar Road in the mandal to Pharmacity directly. For this, senior revenue officials have already inspected the road site. Officials are planning to build a double road from Nagarjunasagar Road Takkallapalli Gate via Takkallapalli village and directly into the Pharmacity lands from behind Medipalli village. However, the then BRS government initiated the construction of this double road by connecting this road from the Srisailam main road in Kandukuru mandal to Kothur Gate via Mirakhanpet and connecting it to Nagarjunasagar Road via Nabdiki Singaram, Nandivanaparthi and Yacharam villages in the mandal. As part of this, a double road was constructed from the main road of Srisailam in Kandukur mandal, Kothur Gate, to near Mira Khanpet, resembling an outer road. However, from there, the road works in the villages of Naksingaram, Nandiwanaparthi and Yacharam in the mandal have been stalled due to lack of funds. Although the work on widening the road from Mira Khanpet to near Najjiki Singaram has continued, it has not progressed beyond that. The road is currently in a very bad condition. The soil has been washed away by the rains and has turned into potholes, constantly presenting a hell to the passengers. In addition, land acquisition has to be done in Nandiwanaparthi. In the past, the land acquisition process was also stalled there as farmers had raised concerns about giving away land during the public consultation. The double road that was planned to be built from Nandiwanaparthi to Medipalli has also been stalled in the middle. Two bridges have already been built on that road and abandoned. Even where bridges have been built, the road has deteriorated, causing inconvenience to commuters. The authorities are not interested in the construction of the road from Khanpet to Yacharam, connecting the incomplete road, and from Nandivanaparthi to Medipalli. The main reason for this is that in the current situation, along with land acquisition, the distance has increased, there is more funding, and there are high-tension electric wires.

The authorities are planning to construct a double road from Nagarjuna Sagar Road to the back of Medipalli village, connecting the lands previously acquired for Pharmacity. The road and the site have been inspected for this. It is learnt that the road report has been submitted to the higher authorities. It is learnt that the authorities have selected the site here to construct a road from Nagarjuna Sagar Road to Pharmacity at a short distance. The authorities are planning to enable large vehicles and containers to travel to Pharmacity from the highway in a short time and at a short distance. With this, the authorities are working to construct a double road from Nagarjuna Sagar Road Takkalpalli Gate via Takkalpalli village and directly from the back of Medipalli village to the back of Pharmacy lands.
