Vignan University, a deemed university in Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh, plans to set up its branch at Potti Marri circle near Yadagirigutta.

The Telangana government has allotted 16 acres of land for a Veda Patashala here.

International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) has undertaken an ancient Krishna temple here and will develop it as an Iskcon Temple.
