A son of the soil in the literal sense, Mr. Ramu belongs to a simple, honest agriculture family – the ones who devote their entire lives toiling at field yet are hit hard when the rainfall deserts the region. It was in the city of Hyderabad that Mr. Ramu learnt more about life while overcoming hurdles that eventually shaped his visionary personality. As it was his dream to transform into an entrepreneur, Mr. Ramu found the calling in real estate, in general, and as Marketing Executive at Shanta Sriram Constructions, in particular. Inspired by Mr. Narsaiah, Chairman of Shanta Sriram, he started proving his mettle at the company by achieving great targets from the word go. As a result, he was promoted as Head of Marketing soon. Ramu lived up to his new role while understanding the market needs, clients’ requirements and industry trends. Going a step further, he introduced and followed best practices in the organisation as well as maintained healthy and mutually rewarding relationships with customers, investors, landowners and associates. A hands-on kind of person, he also involved himself in all the spheres of the construction activities – from site selection, planning the type of project to amenities that suited the project and specifications. Here again, he made better changes and introduced superior practices while at the same time boosting the morale of the team. His efforts didn’t go unnoticed and he was soon elevated to the designation of General Manager of the company. The gamut of responsibilities too expanded to include liaison work - with architects, govt. officials, investors, bankers, lawyers and so on, as well as finance, administration, and co-ordination while providing support to the engineering team. With a new perspective on Hyderabad’s real estate and changing lifestyles of the people, he introduced many useful schemes as well. In particular, as the city’s fortunes changed over the last few years and market began plunging to new lows, he came up with innovative selling techniques and strategies for selling commercial spaces. Delving deeper, he handled concepts, designing, promotions, branding as well as brochures, ads and other marketing literature. He also devoted himself to project launches and press meets while attending trade related seminars and conferences. In essence, the experience and expertise gained over 15 years at Shanta Sriram Constructions fuelled his desire to embark upon the path of an entrepreneur. Thus, he established Raam Developers, a start up company with an innovative vision of providing maximum value and ultimate happiness to a home buyer while offering true worth and respect to his/ her hard earned money.
