📈 Flex Office Space Market Booming in India
India’s flexible office space market is growing rapidly and is expected to cross 100 million sq ft by 2027, according to Colliers India.
🔹 Current flex stock stands at 72.3 million sq ft
🔹 Bengaluru leads with 31% share, followed by Pune (11.5%)
🔹 Flex pe*******on to rise from 8.5% (2025) → 10.5% (2027)
🔹 Seat absorption expected to grow 25%, reaching ~200,000 seats in the next two years
🏙 Tier-2 cities gaining traction
Cities like Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Kochi, Coimbatore & Jaipur are seeing faster expansion due to 30–35% lower rentals than Tier-1 cities.
🔸 By 2027, Tier-2 cities may account for 10–15% of India’s flex stock
🔸 Technology & BFSI sectors will drive 60–65% of demand
