Rajasthan bags MoUs worth Rs. 68,698 cr ahead of investor summit in Jaipur from 24-25 Jan 2022

The organizer, the government of Rajasthan has made a deal of MoUs worth INR 68,698 crore and the letter of intents (LoIs) over INR 10,099 crore totalling over INR 70,700 crore, said the press release.

The investments are majorly proposed in the industries across the state i.e. Ghiloth, , , , , Alwar and many other districts where RIICO has developed special sectoral zones over the years.

ReNew Power has proposed to invest INR 50,000 crore in and Solar Module manufacturing in various districts, JK Lakshmi has proposed to invest about INR 4250 crore in , Udaipur and for cement manufacturing and limestone mining; JK Cement has proposed investment of INR 1500 crore in Jaisalmer; Lenskart has proposed to invest INR 400 crore in Bhiwadi;

Daikin Airconditioning to invest INR 294 crore, OKAYA EV has proposed to set-up EV manufacturing and assembling unit in Neemrana at an investment of INR121.36 crore .

The Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Ashok Gehlot’s statement pertaining to the investor summit presses on the manifestation and commitment of and enduring with private enterprise for the of the state and prosperity of the people.

ESSCI has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Rajasthan Government to establish a state-of-the-art Common Utility Centre (CUC) in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan.

The Rs 13.34 crore Common Utility Centre will be built in the ELCINA Electronics Manufacturing Cluster in Bhiwadi, which is the first cluster project launched by ELCINA members under the Electronics Manufacturing Cluster Scheme 1.0 of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology's National Policy on Electronics 2012. (MeitY).

"This Common Utility Centre in Rajasthan will be implemented over a 1.5-year period and will be critical in supporting the region's Electronics Manufacturing and ESDM companies by providing Additive Manufacturing, Design, and Testing services, as well as Capacity Building, which are critical support facilities required to generate innovative and high-quality electronic products in India."

ESSCI aspires to create a world-class electronics manufacturing industry with a supportive ecosystem for skill development and increased employability for India's enormous workforce.
