More than 61,000 homes were sold across India’s tracked residential markets in Q2 2026, while roughly 63,800 new units were introduced.
CBRE also notes a continued rise in the share of high-end apartment sales.
The interesting story is not simply that “luxury is booming.” It is that the market is becoming more segmented—and that makes product definition matter.
A high-end buyer still asks very ordinary questions:
Is the location useful? Is the plan intelligent?
Is the developer credible?
Are the specifications real?
Will the home age well?
A selective market is healthy when it makes both buyers and developers think harder.
