January 1, 2026, marked a milestone for over 12,000 applicants under PMAY-U 2.0 in Rajasthan! The State Level Sanctioning & Monitoring Committee (SLMC) meeting at 'Chintan' (CR-1), Secretariat, Jaipur, approved new proposals, bringing hope to these applicants of owning a pucca home. The meeting was chaired by Hon'ble Shri V Srinivas, Chief Secretary, GOR. It was co chaired by Shri Ajitabh Sharma, Addl. Chief Secretary, Energy Department; Dr. Debasish Prusty, Principal Secretary, UDH Department; Sh. Ravi Jain, Secretary, LSGD; Sh. Hari Mohan Meena, Mission Director (Housing); Joint Secretary Finance; Joint Secretary-1, PHED; Deputy Director, Revenue-1; Commissioner, Kota Development Authority. The State Level Nodal Officer & Project Director Housing Sh. Pradeep Kumar Garg proposed additional new projects forwarded by ULBs of Rajasthan to state for approval in SLMC Meeting to be further approved on 6th January CSMC Meeting held at GOI level; Chief Town Planner, Town Planning Department & Chief Manager SLBC, Bank of Baroda, Jaipur were present.

A high-level monitoring & review meeting was held today at Directorate of Local Bodies, Jaipur, Rajasthan, focusing on PMAY-U 1.0 and 2.0 progress. The meeting was chaired by LSG Secretary Sh Ravi Jain. It was co chaired by Mission Director & ED RUDSICO Housing Sh. Hari Mohan Meena and State Level Nodal Officer & PD Housing Sh. Pradeep Kumar Garg. In the meeting GM Housing, PMAY U INcharge, SLTC Team and other were present. The meeting emphasized completing pending projects, geotagging grounded houses, and conducting demand surveys for new proposals.
Some key points directed are as below:
- Completion of PMAY-U 1.0 Pendencies: Ensuring all pending projects are completed
- Geotagging of Grounded Houses: Tracking progress and ensuring transparency
- Demand Survey for New Proposals: Identifying new housing needs and proposals

IEC Activity - Meeting with Head of Transgender Community from Jaipur Rajasthan at RUDSICO Housing on dated 11th December 2025.
Pushpa Mai, a prominent transgender community leader from Jaipur, Rajasthan, came forward to know about housing schemes at state office (RUDSICO Housing). She highlighted the pressing need for affordable housing for the transgender community. The meeting focused on exploring the various components of housing schemes run under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) in the state of Rajasthan.
Approximately 1 lakh (approx. 5000 in Jaipur itself) transgender individuals in Rajasthan lack access to proper housing. Presently residing in shelter homes, katchi bastis, or rented accommodations. Pushpa Mai emphasized the need for pucca houses with basic amenities, particularly for all but especially elderly and children within the transgender community. The discussion aimed to promote awareness and facilitate access to government housing schemes for the transgender community. She emphasized that with house there should be provision of livelihood as earning with living is dire need of the community. She said she will share relevant proposal for BLC Projects and Affordable Housing/Rental Projects. She said that she will float a common message to the transgender community that all those who own a land in urban area may apply for PMAY U 2.0 BLC Projects. The meet was held on dated 11.12.2025 with team members of State Level Technical Cell (SLTC) namely, Dr. Rolly Sinha, Mr. Vivek Pundhir, and Mr. Bharat Suthar. RAJASTHAN

A physical meeting was scheduled under the chairmanship of Shri Hari Mohan Meena Mission Director of PMAY-U Rajasthan, on December 10, 2025, to discuss loan requirements for completing PMAY-AHP houses (CMJAY projects) and disbursements of RUDF-II at Jaipur's RUIDP Meeting hall, Jawahar Circle. The meeting was co-chaired by Dr. Devaram, GM (Finance) RUDSICO and Sh. Pradeep Kumar Garg, Project Director (Housing). Sh Narendra Sharma (GM- Housing), Sh. Om Prakash (PMAY U –Incharge) and Sh. Vivek Pundhir (SLTC, PMAY U – AHP) from state office participated. From districts the meeting was attended by Secretary (Jodhpur, Bhilwara); Commissioner (Balotra, Bundi, Beawar); Executive Officers (Nimbahera, Keshoraipatan, Rawatbhata); Project Incharges & M/s of all projects aimed to provide housing to urban poor and middle-class families.

A ceremonial function was held at Sirohi Municipal Council, Rajasthan on dated 28.11.2025, where 100 flats were allotted under the Mukhyamantri Jan Awas Yojana. Honorable Minister Sh. Otaram Dewasi handed over the flats to the beneficiaries. The event was attended by MP Sh. Nimbaram, District Collector Ms. Alpa Choudhary, and Commissioner of Municipal Council Sirohi Sh. Ashutosh Acharya. This initiative aims to provide affordable housing to eligible citizens, supporting the government's "Housing for All" goal.

A high-level review meeting was held at the Kota Development Authority Office of Kota on the concluding months of 2025 on dated 26.11.2025, focusing on completing PMAY-U targets. The meeting, chaired by KDA Secretary Sh. Mukesh Choudhary, included officials such as CEO Sh. Kamal Kumar Meena, Deputy Director Sh. Divanshu Sharma, and PMAY-U in-charges from urban local bodies of Kota division.
Shri Pradeep Kumar Garg (State Level Nodal Officer PMAY-U Rajasthan) stressed the importance of completing PMAY-U 1.0 houses and urged ULBs to promote PMAY-U 2.0 aggressively, ensuring everyone has access to a pucca roof. He emphasized maximizing applications under 2.0, leaving no eligible person behind.
Representatives from state office Sh. Narendra Kumar Sharma (GM Housing RUDSICO), Sh. Om Prakash (State PMAY U In charge), Sh. Om Vyas & Sh. Bharat (State SLTC Team RUDSICO Housing) participated. Key discussions centered on ensuring all sanctioned houses under PMAY-U 1.0 are completed by 31st December 2025 and maximizing approvals for PMAY-U 2.0, emphasizing the promotion of the Affordable Rental Housing Scheme in Kota division.

REVIEW MEETING PMAY U 2.0 - Shri Pradeep Kumar Garg (State Nodal Level Officer and PD Housing) RUDSICO chaired a crucial VC meeting on October 29, 2025, at RUDSICO office, focusing on PMAY U 2.0 progress. The meeting aimed to strategize and expedite construction, targeting completion of various levels especially PLINTH level by November and December 2025. He directed to accelerate construction - currently at 'not started' level, and reach plinth level by December 2025; Disburse the first installment to all 2.0 beneficiaries; Set targets for construction levels and conduct regular follow-ups; Organize Labharthi Samwad (beneficiary interactions) at ULB level, uploading photos and videos on the Angikaar PMAY U 2.0 portal; Complete pending verifications on portal. The VC Meet was attended by CEOs, Commissioners, EOs, PMAY U Incharges, and CLTC, emphasizing collective efforts to drive PMAY U 2.0 forward.
