बाल सुरक्षा अभियान र कालेबुङ जिल्ला साइकलिङ एसोसिएसनको संयुक्त आयोजनामा साइकल र्‍याली-

कालेबुङ- ५ जुन २०२६(निसं )विश्व पर्यावरण दिवसको अवसरमा बाल सुरक्षा अभियान तथा कालेबुङ जिल्ला साइकलिङ एसोसिएसनको संयुक्त आयोजनामा शुक्रबार सचेतनामूलक साइकल र्‍याली कालेबुङमा सम्पन्न भयो। यस र्यालीमा मैले पनि आफ्नो सहभागिता दिनु पाउँदा खुशी लागेको छ।

"बाल अधिकार र वातावरण, विशेष ध्यान जलवायु परिवर्तन" भन्ने मूल नारासहित आयोजित उक्त कार्यक्रमको उद्देश्य वातावरण संरक्षण, जलवायु परिवर्तनप्रति जनचेतना अभिवृद्धि तथा स्वस्थ जीवनशैलीको प्रवर्द्धन गर्नु मुल उद्देश्य रहेको थियो।

कालेबुङ–१ पञ्चायत समितिको आम सभा सम्पन्न

कालेबुङ–१ पञ्चायत समितिको आम सभा आज पञ्चायत समितिका सहकारी सभापति उत्तम राईको सभापतित्वमा सम्पन्न भयो। पञ्चायत समिति सदस्यहरूको उपस्थितिमा सम्पन्न उक्त सभामा आर्थिक वर्ष २०२६–२७ को वार्षिक कार्ययोजना (Annual Action Plan) माथि छलफल गरियो।
सभामा स्वच्छ भारत मिसन अन्तर्गतका योजनाहरू, साथै १६औँ केन्द्रीय वित्त आयोग र ५औँ राज्य वित्त आयोग अन्तर्गत प्राप्त हुने कोष तथा त्यसको उपयोगबारे पनि चर्चा गरिएको थियो।
सदस्यहरूले स्थानीय क्षेत्रको आवश्यकता अनुसार विकास योजनाहरू सञ्चालन गरी जनतालाई लाभ पुग्ने गरी काम गर्नुपर्नेमा जोड दिएका थिए। साथै आगामी आर्थिक वर्षका योजनाहरू प्रभावकारी रूपमा कार्यान्वयन गर्ने विषयमा पनि छलफल भयो।

On behalf of the Gorkhaland Territorial Administration (GTA) and the people of the Darjeeling Hills, I extend my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to you on assuming the esteemed office of the Chief Minister of West Bengal.

Your assumption of leadership marks the beginning of a new chapter for the State, and we are confident that under your guidance, West Bengal, along with the GTA region, will continue to move forward on the path of peace, development, inclusiveness, and progress.

The GTA remains committed to maintaining peace, harmony, stability, and constructive cooperation in the region. Under my leadership, the Darjeeling Hills have witnessed a sustained period of peace and stability, with no political strikes or unrest since 2017. This peaceful atmosphere has brought about a phenomenal transformation in the tourism sector, leading to a significant increase in the inflow of tourists to the Hills from across India, particularly from different parts of West Bengal.

Today, the Darjeeling Hills stand as a safe, welcoming, and vibrant destination for visitors, and we remain committed to preserving this environment of peace and public confidence in the years ahead.

Once again, I convey my warm congratulations and best wishes for a successful and visionary tenure ahead.
