It was started on May 2002 with a very small setup of two –three computers and with two faculties. The main aim behind to setup the organization is to educate that kind of students who are not prosperous and not from the very good economical background. The name of the institute is AIM Computer Academy. After three months of operation it was decided to register the organization under society act s
o on September 2002 the organization was registered by Registrar of Society by the name of Advance Information & Multimedia (AIM) Education Society the Registration Number is 1170/2002-2003. Actually there was a great problem of computer education in Kanpur South for the middle & lower class students, because they are not able to pay the fees for (so called) higher level institute, and in lower standard institute there was a great problem of infrastructure. So it was decided by Arun Kumar Sachan to open a computer academy for weaker segment, it was decided that the academy will not run for economical profit on primary level. The main objective was the academy was / is to become popular on the basis of services and academic environment mainly in discipline. At the starting as usual there was no any advertisement and pomp to spread the institute and the financial situation was not good. At the first month there only three-four students were in the institute. With last of June / July starting the strength was increased. The infrastructural development was started from September 2002. There was an accident of fire on 3rd February 2003 in the academy. All the computers and other infrastructure were damaged but after 10 days the academy was started again with the help of students.
