To assess Red brick quality:

1. Submerge the brick in water for 24 hours. Before immersion, record the brick's weight.
2. After 24 hours, remove the brick from the water and dry it with a cloth.
3. Measure the weight of the brick again.
4. Determine the difference in weight percentage between the dry brick and the immersed brick.
5. Calculate the absorption using the formula:

absorption = ((wet brick weight - dry brick weight) / dry brick weight) * 100

If the absorption percentage exceeds 20%, purchasing is not recommended due to poor quality.
The absorption percentage is considered second-grade if it falls between 16 and 20%.
If the absorption percentage is less than 16%, it is classified as first-class.
