This aesthetically designed house is located about 15 kms from Edappally at Poosaripady in North Parur , Ernakulam. About 30 minutes’ drive from Cochin city, this 3 bedroom 2 floor independent villa is located on a 20.48 cents plot and has a total plinth area of 3,083 square feet. The construction of this slate cladded house was completed in November 2010. The rolling shutters, gates and the sprinkler systems are all automated and the building is equipped with Euro Vigil security systems. All the three bedrooms are located on the ground floor, with a central courtyard roofed with polycarbonate honeycomb panels. The upper deck of the house is equipped with a mini bar, a TV viewing area and a small office space. The flooring has been completed using vitrified tiles and wooden laminated panels.
Designed by Architect Sebastian Jose of Silpi Architects, Thevara, this uniquely designed house has won the Golden Leaf Award instituted by the Indian Institute of Architects – Kerala Chapter for excellence in Architecture. Apart from featuring in many leading channels (including “Veedu” programme on Manorama) and magazines, this house has the distinction of being declared as the winner of Idea Dream Home Season 3.
