Devastating Flash Flood Hits Dharali Village in Uttarkashi
A massive cloudburst in the Kheer Ganga river catchment area triggered catastrophic flash floods in Dharali village, Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand, causing widespread destruction.
At least four people have lost their lives, with several others feared missing or trapped under debris. The raging floodwaters swept away 20-25 hotels, homestays, homes, and shops, leaving the village, a key stopover on the route to Gangotri Dham, in ruins.
