Planning a new home? Accurate brick estimation helps you control costs, reduce material wastage, and keep your project on schedule.

In this example, we estimate the approximate number of bricks required for a 1000 sq.ft. 2BHK house, including a standard 10% allowance for wastage and breakage.

📌 Quick Formula:

Number of Bricks = Total Wall Volume ÷ Volume of One Brick + 10% Wastage

💡 Architect’s Tips:
✔️ Always add 5–10% extra bricks for cutting, breakage, and future repairs.
✔️ Use good-quality bricks with uniform size for stronger masonry.
✔️ Final brick quantity may vary depending on wall thickness, openings, and structural design.

In this example, we’ve calculated the approximate number of 2’ × 2’ tiles required for a 1000 sq.ft. 2BHK house, including a standard wastage allowance.

📌 Quick Formula:

Number of Tiles = Total Floor Area ÷ Area of One Tile + 5–10% Wastage
