This position requires the candidate to look after Our Client in Australia/NZ/Asia for different inhouse or partner product portfolios mainly for support such as Verba call recording, Custom wallboard solutions (FWi or Innova). The daily tasks are:
• Install, configure and support products in-line with design documentation.
• Provide technical support to Project Managers and customers during the implementation planning process.
• Participate in customer implementation kick-off meetings to provide the technical prerequires information.
• Provide customer technical training to enable support processes and ensure SLAs can be met.
• Contribute to post-install ‘as-built’ customer documentation.
• Provide ‘go-live’ support to newly installed solutions and manage the transition to on-going support.
• Provide front line in-country (in time zone) support to AU customers in conjunction with European based tier 2 and 3 product support teams.
• Perform testing and provide input to the development of products.
• Work closely and assist other non-ANZ engineering and development teams.
• Provide technical pre-sales support for sales opportunities around Microsoft and related projects.
• Provide implementation design, planning and deployment for Microsoft platform-based projects.
• Maintain database of support contract details so our financial controller can issue support renewal advice to the customer.
• Attain and maintain your Microsoft technical certifications as relates to Microsoft partner status.
Future Opportunities for this role:
• Help create additional revenues for our Microsoft product portfolio and application development expertise.
• Provide a vision around what can be created from your technical expertise and assist with growing an ANZ based solution delivery team.
• Support, assistance and representation at various trade shows, conferences and related activities.
• Be responsible for both development of new solutions, support & maintenance of ongoing operational systems.
Skills Required
• Minimum 1-3 years’ experience is essential.
• Must have adequate working knowledge on Microsoft server Technologies especially windows server, Lync or Skype for Business
• Demonstrated ability to work with all aspects of a project lifecycle including requirements gathering, scheduling, implementation and testing with frequent, quality communication.
• Knowledge or understanding of a variety of cloud computing platforms including Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Must have for the job:
• Hands-on experience for project and support
• Must be ready to work after hours on need basis.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications Especially windows server, Lync or SfB
• Must be able to work independently and work from home
