Play Beyond Boundaries: Empowering Every Athlete on National Sports Day!* 🇮🇳
On National Sports Day, as we honor the legendary Major Dhyan Chand, let’s look past traditional boundaries and champion a truly unified vision: *Sports for All!*
True sporting spirit means ensuring that every individual—regardless of physical ability—has an equal opportunity to play, compete, and shine. It is time to build deeper awareness and collective sensitization toward inclusive sports, creating pathways where *visually impaired* athletes and all Divyangjans take center stage with pride.
A monumental shoutout and heartfelt thanks to the *Government of Maharashtra* for pioneering a forward-thinking *Sports Policy* that formally integrates Divyang athletes into the mainstream framework. By prioritizing accessibility, funding, and equal representation, Maharashtra is showing the nation how to turn inclusivity into action.
From the roaring cheers of *cricket* and tactical brilliance of *chess, to the high-energy intensity of **handball, athletics, judo, and goalball*—indoor and outdoor sports popular across India and globally—every discipline deserves our support. Let’s encourage our youth to embrace diverse sports and ensure equal opportunities reach every corner of society.
Let’s play together, grow together, and build an accessible, sports-forward nation! 💪✨
