The society is located between Goregaon and Malad which are two important suburbs of Mumbai.It is well connected to convenient locations namely schools, restaurants ,hospitals and even malls .One of Mumbai’s famous and largest mall i.e. the Inorbit Mall is also located exactly seven to ten buildings away from this society. This society is also one of the largest society in the Malad -Goregaon belt
and also forms an important landmark.there is also a Bus-stop named after this infamous society.As someone rightly quoted that “even u say i wish to go to Madhur society once you enter Malad west any kid will guide you there * conditions apply.”
The people of Madhur society are also very amiable but tend to argue and fight at the society meetings which take hours to conclude unlike other societies located in the vicinity. It also consists of several other social bodies like the “Madhur Mahila Mandal” & “Madhur Yuva Mandal”(MYM) etc who come together and organise social functions.Some of the notable functions organised by them are “The Shree Satyanarayan Mahapuja” ,”Holi”,”Haldi-kunku” and many more. In the last couple of years the number of such functions has increased but WITH MORE FINANCIAL AND MORAL SUPPORT ALONG WITH ACTIVE PARTICIPATION FROM ALL AGE GROUPS THE SOCIETY WILL TRULY JUSTIFY ITS NAME……“MADHUR”
