"On July 24, 2026, the newly built Pema Chöiling Monastery was inaugurated in Salghari. Today, on behalf of Denchung GPU, we presented an appreciation letter to the Chief Minister of Sikkim. In 2022, when our area, previously Poklok Denchung GPU, was separated and became its own 40-Denchung GPU, it also became its own district territory. This GPU is now a single, unified GPU with its own distinct territory. This letter was presented by our Panchayat Vice President, Mr. Sukraj Limboo, and on behalf of all of Denchung GPU, we extend our heartfelt gratitude. The letter was handed over by Panchayat President Nimkit Lepcha and District Panchayat Member Mr. Albert Tamang. We are forever grateful to the Chief Minister and all who made this possible."

We, the Gram Panchayats of 40-Denchung GPU, are thrilled to share that we successfully hosted a Bal Sabha It was truly inspiring to see these young minds showcase their incredible talents. So much potential.

"Today, dated 07/07/2026 ,
40- Denchung Gram Panchayat Unit, keeping SBM in mind, distributed essential items like dustbins, buckets, and cleaning supplies in the toilets. Specifically, we provided these essential items in six CSCs (Community Sanitary Complexes) today. Namely, we distributed them at Denchung Manilakhang, Denchung Public Ground, Denchung Rema Church, D**g public ground and Denchung near ongu Lepcha’s house. Additionally, we provided three segregated garbage dustbins, along with dustpans and handwashes, to both schools—Denchung JHS and D**g Ambotey School. Similarly, we also provided dustbins, dustpans, and handwashes to the food godown and Fairs price soups. This distribution was carried out today in all mentioned locations.
