In 2006-07, when projects were mushrooming around the beach belts of Goa, Palacio Group raced against the tide and launched Glenwood Gardens at Goa Velha. This project today symbolizes the company’s commitment to sustainable development in Goa. We believed then that the market was within Goa. It is this belief that finally turned into a reality with the launch of Glenwood Gardens. In the following years, it’s this vision that led many other developments to spring up in this village of Goa Velha and surrounding areas. This was the way forward and with the project at Goa Velha, We started our journey on integrating sustainability into our processes. This required complex procedures and long-term commitment, and we at The Palacio Group have taken this conscious decision to make it part of our business ethics. Becoming environmentally conscious is an ongoing process, using design techniques, materials and technologies that minimize a building's impact on the environment. We have embarked upon this, by making changes in our designs so that every unit could capture the natural lighting, which would eventually result in lower electricity consumption.
