Please find below, the latest update on the status of the outer ring road plan for Ranchi. This will be a major milestone in the development and urban expansion of the city. With the outer ring road in place, there will be a clear demarcation in the development zones with respect to build form density. The city centre will be transformed into CBD(central business district) while the peripheral areas up to inner ring road will have concentration of high rises, and the zone between inner ring road and out ring road will be dominated with low rise development including private townships, mass housing, large scale recreational areas.
In stock market parlance, the core(CBD) will mimick the index, the area within the inner ring road will show characters of midcap while the zone between the inner and out ring road will behave like small caps. Beyond out ring road, the investment would somewhat resemble microcaps - volatile high beta but with multibagger potential.
Ahmedabad and Hyderabad are two best examples of the city transformation with concentric development. In addition, it sets a right background for a wider role of RRDA Similar to that of AUDA and HMDA.
