Homestay owners/managers - beware! This man sweet talked his way into Tanikhet last month and paid a measly advance. He stayed for a few days with a daily promise that the balance payment would be made by the end of day, giving very convincing arguments for why the payments were not coming through that day (including screenshots of the same). And then, he vanished. He has not responded to messages or calls since then. Please do not allow him to enter your property.

REVIEW

We stayed at lovely Tanikhet for a week - me, Mehul and our beagle Chester. Where should I begin? The cottage is cute, beautifully done up, and cozy - the cottage became our home away from home from the minute we walked in! The beautiful view of the Himalayas, clear from every room, coupled with lovely sunlight made our stay memorable. And it snowed! Literally the icing on the cake!

But truly the best asset Tanikhet has is dearest Negi ji. He made sure we were comfortable, well fed and TENSION FREE throughout our stay. Not enough can be said about him. From cooking delicious meals at least three times a day to bringing us rotis from his home every night to making sure our driver was comfortable and well cared for to making sure we had all safety measures in place to ensuring our little doggy doesn’t run off - he went out of the way every day and in every moment.

We look forward to being back here soon and to building memories together.
