Rayagada is slowly changing, and one of the biggest changes is happening on its roads. 🛣️

The Cabinet has approved major road upgrades connecting Rayagada with important parts of the district.

The Rayagada–Kereda Road (MDR-48B) is planned to be upgraded from 2 lanes to 4 lanes across 25.166 km, with an investment of ₹126.94 crore.

At the same time, the Amlabhat Junction–Muniguda Road (SH-5) is also getting a major upgrade, covering around 60 km with an investment of ₹280.89 crore.

Together, these projects represent around ₹407.83 crore of infrastructure investment and approximately 85 km of road coverage.
