Srinagar: A State Executive Meeting was held at the party office in Srinagar to discuss measures for strengthening the party organization at the grassroots level and enhancing its presence among the people.

During the meeting, Shaheen appealed to all party leaders, office-bearers, and members to take concrete steps to strengthen the organizational structure at the booth and ground levels. JDU J&K Demands Time-Bound Action on Unemployment and Pending Youth Issues

Srinagar, October 2, 2026: JDU Jammu & Kashmir today urged the administration to adopt a clear, time-bound approach towards unemployment and the long-pending concerns of youth and workers across the Union Territory.

JDU J&K State Youth President Mudasir Rehman said that young people need concrete employment opportunities, transparent recruitment processes and faster implementation of schemes that can create sustainable livelihoods.

He said the concerns of daily wagers and other workers regarding regularisation, pending payments and service-related issues also require serious and timely attention.

“Announcements alone cannot address the concerns of thousands of families. The government must ensure measurable progress on the ground and remain accountable to the people,” mudasir Rehman said.

JDU called upon the administration to engage with youth, employees and workers and establish clear timelines for resolving their genuine grievances.

JDU J&K stands committed to raising the issues of the people and demanding accountable, transparent and responsive governance.

JDU Slams NC Government Over Unemployment and Unfulfilled Election Promises in J&K

Srinagar, September 30, 2026: JDU Jammu & Kashmir State Youth President Mudasir Rehman has criticised the NC-led government over the serious unemployment crisis facing the youth of Jammu & Kashmir and questioned the implementation of its election commitments.

Rehman said that educated and skilled youth are struggling to find suitable employment and demanded transparent recruitment, a fixed recruitment calendar and time-bound filling of vacant government posts.

“Jammu & Kashmir’s youth need jobs and opportunities, not assurances. The government must clearly explain the status of its employment commitments and present a concrete roadmap for job creation,” Rehman said.

He also called for stronger support for youth entrepreneurship, skill development, apprenticeships and private-sector employment across Jammu & Kashmir.

Rehman further said that the JDU Youth Wing will continue to raise the concerns of unemployed youth and demand accountability from the government. He urged the administration to act without further delay and place a clear, measurable employment roadmap before the people of Jammu & Kashmir.

“The youth have waited long enough. Now they need answers, timelines and action—not another set of promises.”
