Andhra Pradesh’s master plan
The Government of Andhra Pradesh has unveiled the master plan of seed capital area and the development of CRDA by 2050. The IT cluster will be developed in Vuddhandrayuni Palem area of Guntur district. The seed capital with all important offices and growth clusters will be developed in between Tallayapalem – Lingayapalem in an area of 16.9 sq.kms.

Various industrial and other growth hubs in Amaravati:
1) Nandigama: Tourism Hub
2) Amaravati: Heritage hub
3) Sattenapalli: Heavy Industries
4) Guntur: Agro Processing
5) Tenali: Small and Medium Industries
6) Pamarru: Multimode Transport
7) Gudivada: Electronics hub
8) Gannavaram: Areospace industry hub
9) Nuzvidu: Food products hub
Physical Geography of Amaravati:
1) Seed Capital Area:
Extent: 16.9 sq.km
Population: 3 lakhs
Government jobs: 62000
Other employment: 6.35 lakhs
2) CRDA by the year 2035:
Population: 1.1 crore
Jobs and employment: For 33 lakhs
3) CRDA by the year 2050:

AP Capital Amaravati Master Plan 2015 by Singapore
The Singapore Team of experts has submitted the Master Plan of AP new Capital City – Amaravati to the Government of Andhra Pradesh. The Master Plan has all the minute details of the proposed capital city constructions, growth corridors, express ways, entertainment zones, infrastructure projects etc. Following are some salient features of the AP Capital – Amaravati Master Plan as submitted by the Singapore Minister Eswaran to AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.

1) Estimation of Population in CRDA region: 1.1 crores by 2035, 1.35 crores by 2050 and 2 crores after 2050.
2) Total land under Amaravati: 53621 acres (217 sq.k.m.). This includes the 33000 acres land pooled by the Government from farmers, roads, endowments and forest department lands)
3) Land to be allocated for Infrastructure projects: 22000 acres
4) Land to be distributed to farmers: 10000 acres.
5) Land to be available for Government after water ponds, forest lands, housing for employees etc.: 8000 acres.
6) Land to be allocated for seed capital where Government offices will be located: 3706 acres.
Urban Growth corridors:
1) Narasaraopet – Sattenapalli – Amaravati – Capital City
2) Vijayawada – Nuzvidu – Jagadalpur NH
3) Nizampatnam Port – Tenali – Capital City
Central Mega City: Joining Vijayawada and Mangalagiri with Inner Ring Road considered as Mega City. Main Cities in the capital region are Vijayawada, Mangalagiri, Guntur, Tenali, Sattenapalli, Nandigama, Gannavaram, Nuzividu and Gudivada.

AP Capital Amaravati Industrial Hubs and Roads Plan
The Government of Andhra Pradesh has announced names and locations of various industrial hubs to be developed in the capital region of AP (CRDA). The Government is proposed to develop 9 industrial hubs across the capital region. Following are details of these hubs…
1) Tourism hub: Vundavalli
2) Health hub: Near Krishnayya Palem
3) Electronics hub: Bethampudi
4A) Knowledge hub: From Sakhamuru to the border of capital
4B) From Inavolu to the border of capital
5) Government Core: Rayapudi
6) Legal hub: Near Nelapadu
7) Sports hub: Abbarajupalem
8) Endowments hub: Near Anantha varam
9) Financial hub: Near Tallayapalem and Vuddandarayunipalem
Apart from these, three regional commercial centers will be developed in Amaravati. The Government of AP will be developing express highways and roadlines across the region of new capital city of Amaravati. The roads will be constructed to connect all the industrial hubs.
Roads are being designed without many curves in the new capital city. The Government is also taking proposals and opinions from the general public to integrate canal and road systems effectively. Total distance of main roads in the capital city will be 314 kms.
