Last November, Turkey recorded the sale of 6,83 housing units to foreigners across the country.
According to the figures announced by the Turkish Statistics Authority, on Thursday, the percentage of real estate sales to foreigners decreased last November by 17.4 percent, compared to the same month last year.
The figures reveal that Russian citizens topped the list of real estate purchases with 2,575 housing units, followed by Iranians with 510, and Iraqis with 331.
During the period from January to November 2022, home sales to foreigners increased by 20.4 percent compared to the same period in the previous year, reaching 61,104 homes.
