This Hamlet estate spans 274 hectares (677 acres) of land and includes various real estate and agricultural assets:
5.50 hectares of Chianti Classico DOCG vineyards, originally planted in the 1970s and fully renovated in 2007.
0.50 hectares of new Chianti Classico DOCG vineyards, with planting completed in the spring of 2004.
2.50 hectares of IGT Toscano vineyards, also planted in the spring of 2004.
0.50 hectares of additional Chianti Classico DOCG vineyards, planted in 2012.
0.08 hectares dedicated to Vino Santo production.
10 hectares of olive groves with 3,000 trees currently in production.
230 hectares of forested land, featuring chestnut, pine, and oak trees.
At full operational capacity, the winery has the potential to produce up to 45,000 bottles annually, distributed as follows:
Chianti Classico DOCG: 15,000 bottles
Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG: 10,000 bottles
IGT Toscano – “Dedicated to Benedetta”: 7,500 bottles
Rosato di Sangiovese: 5,000 bottles
White Wine IGT – “Hic et Nunc”: 7,500 bottles
The wines have been reviewed with particular appreciation in all Italian guides. The Rosato di Sangiovese di –IGT has been selected among the three candidates for the award of the Oscars of the Bibenda Guide (AIS).
Besides the domestic market, commercial development is aimed at countries that traditionally absorb the largest quantities of Italian wines. At present, the company distributes its wine products in Europe (United Kingdom, Poland, Germany and Belgium) and in the USA (California).
3) The olive groves:
The company produces about 2000 liters of superior quality organic extra-virgin olive oil per year of extra virgin olive oil of maximum quality from the 15 hectares of olive groves. Moraiolo (80%), Frantoio (15%) and Leccino (5%) olives make up the varietal panorama with an average annual production of about 10-12,000 kg and an oil yield of about 1500-2000 kg: around one bottle of oil for every tree.
The excellent organoleptic characteristic of the oil is obtained thanks to the high altitude of the olive groves, the consequent favorable climatic conditions.
