Le Marche, (The Marches in English) is situated in the central-north of Italy on the Adriatic coast. It is divided into four provinces and the region's capital is Ancona. To the west of the Ascoli Piceno and Macerata provinces are the impressive Sibillini Mountains, a 40 kilometre range with several peaks, the western side of which runs down into Umbria. The area is dotted with small towns and quaint villages perched on wooded hilltops, most with historic centres built in local stone. You can spend your days exploring the nearby cities and villages, walking the cobblestone streets and visiting cosy cafés and bars for a cappuccino or glass of wine. The Sibillini National Park has many footpaths which are mostly signposted for the more adventurous and those who want to get nearer to nature. The Park offers many other activities such as horse riding, climbing and skiing. For the food loving visitor, the “Sagre” food festival is a highlight of a stay in the Italian countryside during the summertime. Le Marche enjoys all the beauty of the rolling hills of Tuscany, without the mass tourism, but still boasting beautiful beaches within less than an hour, and fantastic food at a fraction of the price of many other areas of Italy. One of the reasons why Le Marche has not reached the same levels of fame as Tuscany was the lack of good travel links. Times are changing and now Le Marche is very well connected with the rest of the Europe by low-cost airlines to the international airport in Ancona. The prices are still relatively low compared to other central regions of Italy and Le Marche has not been influenced as much as Tuscany by the international economic crisis. Amazing property dated 1500 totally refurbished with 70 hectares of land , horse training field and stables . The property is surrounded by an incredibly well kept park. A small chapel inside the house at the ground floor gives that unique sense of historical beauty . Pictures do not express at 100 %the beauty of the property.
