Quando registrai Mid Mod, la mia struttura ricettiva, al Comune di Cantù, Marilisa e suo Marito (♡) del B and B La Finestra sul Giardino mi han subito dato il benvenuto nell'allora piccola, ma preziosa, comunità degli Host canturini e zone limitrofe, tra cui Elena del B and B Betta47.
Poi ho conosciuto Chiara (che mi ha ispirato con la sua riccia chioma naturale e la sua immensa energia) del B and B Il Tempo di Carimate.
Si è successivamente aggiunta la sprintosissima e simpaticissima Lorena del B and B La Casa di Nuvola.
Ed eccoci qui! ♡
Crediamo in un'ospitalità che sia accoglienza dei nostri Ospiti offrendo loro, ognuno con caratteristiche e servizi differenti, professionalità, gentilezza e un letto comodo!
Che in fondo, lo sappiamo bene, andando insieme si va sicuramente più lontano! Grazie!

Gli Ospiti che abbiamo accolto a Mid Mod hanno apprezzato questa piccola città (o grande paese) che cerchiamo di raccontare e condividere e che ha sempre affascinato tutti. Chiunque sia passato di qui per lavoro, per turismo, per eventi, non ha potuto che lasciarsi avvolgere da questa atmosfera che racchiude storia, tradizioni, cultura ed inestimabile sensibilità. Vivere in un centro vivace dall'anima definita e così caratteristica, anche solo per un paio di notti, non lascia indifferenti. Come i suoi mobili e i suoi pizzi. Questa è Cantù!

La Brianza, terra di fabbri e agricoltori, è diventata a poco a poco un laboratorio dove artigiani del legno, architetti e designer hanno collaborato (tra aperture e resistenze) per rinnovare il settore dell’arredamento

Mid Mod!
You say it just as you read it!
It is a short way to refer to a specific architectural period of innovation and design that is iconic, futuristic, innovative, prosperous and still modern: The Midcentury Modern.
The late 50s building (where there is Mid Mod) is the perfect example of that period architectural style and was designed by architects Asnago and Vender that are considered the Italians and Milan most creative representatives of Midcentury Modern.
And last but not least there are always people behind hospitality: the name of the Host at Mid Mod is Marina. Marina M. that loves her M and finds it interesting and charming.
So Mid Mod couldn't be any better of a name to use for this inspiring and modern business.
And the letter M reminds the stunning and amazing view from Mid Mod over the Alps and over the roofs of Cantù with its historical churches and bell towers.
Energies, vibes, passion, beauty, creativity, imagination, love, light, brightness, history and nature in one name!
And our Guests do really feel the bright and positive and relaxing atmosphere and simply love it!

When I had to decide the name of my business, many names came to my mind. As a copywriter and creative some were absolutely fun and unique. And people immediately liked them all. But at the end, none on the list really felt like the good one for me. The view, S' room, Business corner, Destination 50, Century's, Modernist. Only to share a few.
I will post for the very first time the story behind MID MOD name choice!
