Yet agian, the olive harvest is over here in the hillsidens north of Lucca. The olives were hanging like grapes from the trees, but a humid october made them a bit "watery". Normal at the mill is 13-16 liter of oil pr. 100 kilos. This year the average is about 10. But the taste, and smell, with bruschetta and a glass of red: Mervigliosa.

Allmost end of summer season - hardly any tourists. We get our normal life back and ready to enjoy all aspects of living in Tuscany, also taking trips in the area to enjoy nature and history. The sun is still warm and plenty of time to enjoy a coffee inthe garden, just enjoying the vibrant colors.😃
