Vinci, Tuscany

Vinci, in the province of Florence, is about a one-hour drive from the city of Florence.

The home of Leonardo da Vinci is a quaint, picturesque village on a hill overlooking vineyards, olive groves, and mountains off in the distance. Leonardo’s influence is evident throughout the town. His name and artwork adorn shop windows and museums. You can visit his childhood home further up the hillside.

I am an Italian-American born and raised in the United States. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from New College of Florida and a Master’s degree in Conflict Resolution from Georgetown University. I've worked in Lebanon, Bangladesh, and Colombia on conflict and development-related topics. When I arrived in Florence, I saw first-hand how difficult it is to find an apartment as a foreigner. Now, I have my Italian real estate license (something that very few Italian real estate agents are able to obtain). In additional to real estate, I also run a regular social event for artists, musicians, and other creative people (mostly expats) to build a community while they find a community in their new country.
