ous 800 sq ft. Two exceptional features are the abundance of natural light provided by the many windows and the unique cream coloured tile flooring - a specialty of the architect. The location is outside Florence’s restricted traffic zone, so driving in the neighborhood does not require special authorization. Metered pay parking is available on-street or in one of two nearby parking areas. Florence’s major attractions are within a walking distance. Piazza Michelangelo, the viewpoint for magnificent panoramas of the city is a short walk away. Other points of interest can be reached by an easy, picturesque walk along the River Arno. Walking times to most points of interest are between 15 and 30 minutes. A taxi stand is located around the corner as are stops for the city buses going to the historic centre and BusItalia buses to destinations such as Greve-in-Chianti. Security: This is a safe neighbourhood in a safe city. The main building requires an entry key and is controlled by video enter-phone. The first floor location provides additional security and the single point of entry to the apartment is secured by a Dierre steel reinforced security door with multiple deadbolts. (Note: the apartment does not have a safe.) This is a non-smoking apartment and, sorry, no pets are allowed. Rental Includes:
