This vision defines The Carlton Milano, the new Rocco Forte Hotels property, created through the redevelopment of a historic address in Milan’s Fashion District.
Designed by Philip Vergeylen and Paolo Moschino under the creative direction of Olga Polizzi, the project interprets Milanese identity through a timeless language that balances heritage and contemporary sensibility. Architecture, interiors and craftsmanship merge to create a space in dialogue with the city and its cultural legacy.
The dual frontage on Via Senato and Via della Spiga reinforces the hotel’s connection between two distinct sides of Milan. Public areas unfold as a sequence of welcoming spaces, a refined Milanese residence atmosphere where lounges, dining areas, the bar and courtyard create a fluid and continuous experience.
Stone, timber, metal, textiles and subtle Art Deco references define a sophisticated yet restrained composition, where materials, light and details contribute to a coherent whole. The bathroom fittings, developed by Zucchetti as a custom solution for Rocco Forte Hotels, are conceived as integral architectural elements, reinforcing the formal and material continuity of the interiors.
The Carlton Milano shows that the value of a project lies in the harmony between all its components. Through a unified approach to architecture, interior design and bespoke product solutions, the hotel emerges as a refined expression of contemporary hospitality.
