Based in Lanciano, Abruzzo, since 2007, Richard Petch is an English and Italian speaking builder who qualified, worked as and owned a successful small building company in the North of England, undertaking both commercial and residential work. Moving to Abruzzo

Prior to establishing his own Italian company here in Abruzzo, Richard worked for a local Italian building contractor to gain experience w

ith the Italian methods and materials used which differ greatly to the systems and materials used in the United Kingdom. He is fully registered with the Camera Commercio di Chieti and is qualified to run and manage building sites in Italy having undertaken the required courses and examinations to do this. Working with Local Trades and Professionals

Richard has established a network of reliable, skilled tradesmen and professionals that he utilises to ensure every project is brought in on time, to budget and to a very high standard. Because Richard is fluent in Italian he can liaise with local businesses to get the best deal for his customers. Richard will also oversee the whole project from liaising in Italian with professionals such as architects, engineers, surveyors and the local council (comune). He will provide translations into English for you and therefore avoid any costly misunderstandings due to miscommunication.
