Casa Fringuella is a beautifully restored farmhouse set in the heart of Le Marche countryside with f Rome is 3 hours away as is Pisa.

The house has been finished using traditional materials, paying close attention to detail with wonderful stone and iron work. There are three good sized double bedrooms (one ensuite), 2 further bathrooms, a large sitting room and very large kitchen/dining room. Outside there is a new portico providing much neeeded shade in the summer months, a brand new 10x5 swimming pool, a pizza oven and a barbe

que. A 40 minute drive takes you into the mountains where there is skiing in winter and stunning turquoise blue lakes for a refreshing swim in summer. A 30 minute drive in the opposite direction will get you to the Adriatic coast with long stretches of sandy beaches and delicious sea food restaurants. Ascoli Piceno is the nearest city with a beautiful marble piazza and wonderful architecture and well as some friendly bars and restaurants. Casa Fringuella itself is just 3km from the little town of Montelparo with the most fantastic butcher, a small general store, a bank, post office, pharmacy and two bars. A larger supermarket can be found ten minutes away in Ortezzano. Within ten minutes drive are several superb restuarants serving delicious, simple, authentic food and lovely local wines at low prices with great service. Ryan Air flights go from Stansted to Ancona Airport which is an easy 1 hour 15 minute drive to the house and to Pescara Airport - 1 hour 30 minutes. Despite a few casualties after the abnormally cold winter Casa Fringuella is looking its beautiful best!
