🇮🇹 We visited San Giovanni degli Eremiti church in Palermo and were amazed by how beautiful and well-preserved this UNESCO site is. It is incredible to have a place like this in the heart of a city of more than 600k inhabitants. Palermo is special. 🏛️🌺✨

🇮🇹 Palermo: home to over 200 churches! 🏛️

Over the centuries, wealthy families and religious orders built churches all across the city, leaving behind some of Sicily’s most stunning treasures.✨

Today, we explored one of those: the Church of Sant’Agostino — and we were amazed by its Baroque decorations and peaceful 14th-century cloister! 📍

🇮🇹 Today we happened to visit Villa Napoli, built on 12th-century Norman foundations, and the Cubula, a stunning kiosk from 1184 featuring an iconic red dome surrounded by lush greenery! 🔴🏛️🌿 Sicily is full of incredible historical heritage! It has been a great experience we definitely recommend. ✨️
