Our lovely and newly decorated apartment is just a few minutes away from the Colosseum as well as most of Rome's historial sites such as the Domus Aurea, the Imperial Fora, Colle Oppio, Palatino and trendy Rione Monti.
It's located in one of Rome's oldest neighborhood, il Celio, and it's on a raised ground floor of a five storey building.
A five minutes walk will take you to Villa Celimontana, one of Rome's most pleasant Villas, and around the corner you will find the beautiful basilica of San Clemente.
The place has been newly furnished and decorated, although most of the original features have been kept.
It can accommodate 6 people.
You will have the entire place for yourself.
It consists of a good sized double bedroom with a nice little balcony, a bathroom with shower cubicle, a living space with a large dining table, a well equipped kitchenette, a sofa bed that sleeps two and a second double bedroom and bathroom with a new fitted shower in the basement.
There is heating, wi-fi, air-con, TV, hair dryer, microwave, toaster, kettle and a bialetti stove pot, also tea and coffee for you to use.
Clean bed linen and towels will be provided.
A baby cot is also available on request.
Minutes away you have supermarkets, banks with ATM, pharmacy, a police station, rental of bikes/scooters, an outdoor market, plenty of wine shops....
Despite being so close to the Colosseum, the area still retains a local feel.
Nearby you will find plenty of trattorias where you can taste typical Roman cuisine as well as pizzerias, cafes and some great wine bars.
You will be able to walk to many of the sites but in case you want to use a bus or tram, there are stops just around the corner as well as a taxi stand and Colosseum Metro B (two stops from Termini Station).
Parking is available in the streets around the house, mostly within the blue stripes at a cost of € 1.50 per hour and some free within the white stripes, if it's your lucky day!
Parking is free on Sundays.
