🇮🇹 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗼𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗼 🛥️
Il piccolo borgo marinaro di Portofino è considerato uno dei più belli al mondo. Basta visitarlo per capire perché: le palazzine coloratissime, costruite una a ridosso dell’altra, in riva a un mare dal colore cristallino, insieme agli elementi naturali e paesaggistici del luogo, fanno di Portofino una meta incredibilmente affascinante. 🌊
Il comune sorge sulla Riviera Ligure, in una posizione protetta e favorevole all’insediamento umano, che ebbe inizio molti secoli fa, molto probabilmente durante l’impero romano.
Il nome della località, infatti, deriva dalle parole latine portus e delphini, come testimoniano le fonti d’epoca romana in riferimento alla numerosa popolazione di delfini che abitava le acque del luogo.
Il porticciolo costituisce il nucleo più antico del borgo: Cala Marconi e Molo Umberto I sono i due lati banchinati e attrezzati che lo compongono. 🐬

The small seaside village of Portofino is considered one of the most beautiful in the world. Just visit it to understand why: the colorful buildings, built one close to the other, by a crystal-clear sea, together with the natural and scenic elements of the place, make Portofino an incredibly fascinating destination. 🌊
The town is located on the Ligurian Riviera, in a protected position and favorable to human settlement, which began many centuries ago, most likely during the Roman Empire.
The name of the locality, in fact, comes from the Latin words portus and delphini, as evidenced by the Roman sources in reference to the large population of dolphins that inhabited the waters of the place.
The port is the oldest nucleus of the village: Cala Marconi and Molo Umberto I are the two quay sides and equipped that make it up. 🐬
