The top 3 hikes in Cinque Terre most travelers consider are:
Sentiero Azzurro (Blue Trail) – The most famous coastal path linking all five villages. The section from Monterosso to Vernazza is the most iconic (and challenging), with breathtaking sea views.
Vernazza to Corniglia trail – A scenic climb through terraced vineyards and olive groves, offering stunning panoramas and fewer crowds than the coastal stretch.
The High Path (Sentiero Rosso / 592-1) – Runs along the ridge above the villages. It’s longer and more demanding but rewards you with sweeping views over the coast and a more peaceful atmosphere.
👉 Many travelers are surprised at how steep and uneven the trails can be—proper shoes are a must.
