"A perfect family ! Our were wonderful from start to finish, quick to respond and welcomed us upon arrival in the beautiful sleepy village of Vico Equense. We arrived in a taxi which takes around 40 minutes from Napoli airport without traffic. Our hosts welcomed us from our taxi, helped carried our luggage and showed us to our apartment. / is easily accessible from station which is located at the top of a steep hill (roughly 15 minutes walk up hill - not too bad after a couple of attempts!) however I would bare this in mind as we would usually walk this 2 times a day to get around and reach the supermarket. There is however a local bus which costs €1,80 and comes every half an hour (if on time). Our wonderful hosts welcomed us with homemade , bread, milk and snacks. They showed us around our apartment which is perfect for 5 people and nicer in person! The pictures don’t do it justice! (2 great sized bedrooms and one sofa bed). They were so accommodating as my brother joined us unexpectedly and they supplied an additional single bed which fitted in the living room. The terrace is certainly the highlight of the air apartment has the sun all day until around 6pm. There is a 6 seater table and sun loungers outside where you can enjoy the sun all day. The beach is a stones throw away and you can enjoy beach volley ball or renting a boat/pedalo. We visited a lovely restaurant called which is located on the top of the hill and offers fantastic relaxed/ fine with a great w**e list and excellent Italian cuisine. Snack bars and casual restaurants are available on the beach front however I would recommend dinner in the main town. is not full of tourists which gives you an excellent feel of Italian culture. Bianca provided fresh towels half way through our stay and made it very easy to ask any questions as they live below the apartment. Air conditioning and Wi-Fi are provided along with a small television. Please be reminded that city tax needs to be paid per person at the end of your stay. Our hosts kindly booked us an affordable taxi from the apartment to Napoli airport therefore we didn’t have to worry about arriving on time for our flight home. Perfect location for both relaxed days on the beach and adventures to Sorrento/ Pompei. Overall a lovely and memorable holiday for the 6 of us which was made very special by our hosts - thank you for being so kind and accommodating throughout our trip. We would highly recommend staying here and would love to visit again. Grazie!”
