The latest numbers are in for Jersey’s property market! Here are the key takeaways from the second quarter of 2026:

🔑 House prices on the rise
- Home prices increased by 5% compared to Q2 2025.
- On a rolling four-quarter basis, average prices edged up 1% from the previous quarter.
- Looking back at the peak in Q3 2022, property prices remain 10% lower.

🔑 Market activity surging
- Property sales took a major leap, jump-starting by 24% year-on-year and 32% compared to Q1 2026!
- Overall housing market activity rose 7% quarter-on-quarter and 23% higher than this time last year.

🔑 Rental market snapshot
- Advertised private rental prices saw a slight dip, down 1% on a rolling four-quarter basis.
- Net movement in private rentals was essentially flat, with 44 former rental properties sold and 40 bought as new rentals (a net change of -4 units).
