As an Airbnb owner this was my worst nightmare until I realised it was on my feet and I spread it all through the house. Luckily my guests flight was delayed. What’s the worst thing that’s happened to you just before your guests arrive?

Because Jersey clearly hasn’t got the memo… ☀️ We’re still enjoying warm days, blue skies and beach weather, and with Sandringham House just minutes from the sea, it’s very easy to make the most of it. Even better, flights to Jersey can still be found for under £50 each way, so a little late summer escape might be closer than you think. We’re also now accepting shorter stays for the rest of the year, excluding Christmas and New Year, perfect if you fancy a few days away without committing to a full week. As soon as the playroom is set up for our younger guests the team waste no time in trying on the costumes. I know we are supposed to be focusing on the changeover, but you know us, we always find time to have fun. Trust me the house was left s***k and span for our check in later that day. You should see what we have planned in the next few weeks. Don’t forget to like ❤️ and follow if you want to see more of team Sandringham’s silly antics. We are not just any Airbnb as you can see. X

POV: Two little princesses have arrived at Sandringham House 👑👑✨

So I asked Duncan to wave his magic wand and create the perfect playroom fit for a princess… or in this case, two! 🪄👸👸

Out came the teepee, dolls’ house, books, toys and, most importantly, the dressing-up box. Because obviously every princess needs a wardrobe. 😂👗👑

And then our two little princesses arrived to give it their royal seal of approval. 💕👑

It’s these little touches I love most about preparing Sandringham House for our guests. We want the children to feel that their holiday has been thought about just as much as Mum and Dad’s.

I think it’s safe to say Duncan understood the assignment. 🪄✨
