Most Japanese students return to school this week after summer vacation. The weather continues to be amazing. If you couldn't make it during summer vacation or you want to visit again, we still have a weekend vacancy on September 4-6 and October 2-4.

I was so happy to see our lovely friends return again this summer. They're possibly my fave family. Their eldest was so excited to arrive and then didn't want to leave. I told her she'd have to help me clean for the next 5 hours and even clean the toilets ... and she said yes! Unfortunately, we didn't have a say. She is safely with her beautiful parents, adorable grandfather and siblings.

A lovely German family checked in today for 2 days. They are so happy! It's amazing how one foreign guest family can have such a different experience to the next. Yesterday we had a French family for one night. They both booked through the same booking site. Same weather, same house, same view, same incredible sunset. Different review.

It's been a very busy summer at Itoigawa Beach House. We've had wonderful summer guests visit from all over the world since early July and bookings will continue until mid September. It's been lovely to meet guests, to hear about their stay and see how they enjoyed their time at Itoigawa Beach House. I love to see subtle changes the guests make during their stay to get a feeling of how the house can be more easily and happily used. It really makes me happy that my house is being loved by families from all over the world.
