Come and stay and experience life in country Japan, right on the Chikuma River at the base of Mount Madarao. We are a renovated 150 year old traditional Japanese farm house. The house has a traditional kayabuki style thatched roof and is located at the base of Mount Madarao, right on Japan's longest river, the Chikumagawa. It is ideal to use as a base for skiing, golf, fishing, hiking, biking, travel or just relaxing. It is about 2 hours to Tokyo by train, 30 minutes from Nagano City, 30 minutes to the Jigokudani Monkey Park.
