🌿 “Can you eat this?”
One of the highlights of our recent co-owner stay-over at The Hojo Heritage on Sado Island was a guided wild herb experience led by Harumi-san.
Together, co-owners explored the grounds surrounding the property, learning about local plants, their traditional uses, and even tasting some of them along the way. What started as a walk quickly turned into a series of questions, discoveries, and plenty of laughter.
Experiences like these are one of the unique aspects of PlanetDAO. Beyond preserving historic places, co-owners have opportunities to connect directly with the people, knowledge, and traditions that make each property special.
The wild herb experience also gave us a glimpse of what future guests may be able to enjoy at The Hojo Heritage through seasonal herb walks and other creative ways of experiencing Sado’s culture and landscape.
🌿「これ、食べられるの？」
先日、佐渡島の「北條家住宅」で開催した共同オーナー向けステイオーバー。そのハイライトのひとつが、はるみさんによる野草体験でした。
共同オーナーの皆さんは敷地周辺を散策しながら、身近な植物やその活用方法について学び、実際に味わってみる場面も。気がつけば、たくさんの質問や発見、そして笑い声が飛び交う時間になっていました。
こうした体験は、PlanetDAOならではの魅力のひとつです。歴史的な建物を保存するだけでなく、その土地に根付く人々や知恵、文化に直接触れる機会を共有しています。
今回の野草体験は、将来北條家住宅を訪れるゲストに提供できる体験の可能性も感じさせてくれました。季節ごとの野草散策をはじめ、佐渡の文化や自然を楽しめるさまざまなプログラムを検討していきたいと思います。
