Zamani Za Kale which is Swahili for “once upon a time” is a charming modern cottage in the style of a thingira ( a traditional kikuyu hut) that sleeps two. The cottage has Wi-fi, a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious lounge area. It is located on our farm in Wempa, and is a 20 minute drive from Thika town. It is a place for you to retreat, relax, reset and rejuvenate. It is a wonderful get-away especially curated for you to come alone, with a friend or partner.
The space
This cottage is set on a private space within the farm. The room has a a queen size bed and sleeps 2. There is an ensuite bathroom with toiletries provided.
Guest access
All the space that opens out to the garden is available for you to relax, or even work.
