A Mutation Form is an official land survey document used to subdivide, amalgamate, or change the shape of a registered land parcel.
In simple words, itβs the legal form that records changes in the boundaries or size of land.
π Why is it called βMutationβ?
In land surveying, the word βmutationβ means change.
So, a Mutation Form records a change from the original parcel to new parcels.

WHEN IS A MUTATION FORM USED?

When you split one big parcel into smaller plots.
β‘οΈ E.g., splitting 1 acre into 8 plots of 50x100 ft.
2οΈβ£ Amalgamation:
When you merge two or more parcels into one.
3οΈβ£ Boundary Adjustment:
When you shift the boundary slightly to match actual ground position β after beacon confirmation.
