The spirit of devolution calls for better,swift , effective and services closer to wanjiku and akinyi. It has emerged that due to economic surge, both in activity and empowerment in positive and negative aspect, the kiambu registry has failed to deliver it's mandate to it's citizenry. The service chatter is just but a mirrage.
Let's remind ourselves that the registry ONLY serves, kiambu town, githungiri, kiambaa, limuru,Lari,kabete and kikuyu.
Juja, thika, RUIRU, gatundu south, gatundu north have their registries.
It's such pain and anguish that a kiambu citizen have to travel 80 km for a service in 21st century !
We NOW demand a registry in a central place like LIMURU.
We call upon our able GOVERNMENT COORDINATOR HON MATIANG, OUR ABLE HON FARIDA KARONEY, to come to the rescue of kiambu west, address this issue and place a registry in limuru.
We applaud the mp for limuru for taking the mantle and fighting for this great idea to be borne.

The amended land act 2012 incorporate an all inclusive accord of all family members. A spouse consent is now a mandatory aspect in any land transactions. Gone are days where the registered proprietor can dispose of land without his/her family in the know.
