SATURDAY MORNING PRAYER
Eternal Father, you chose Abraham as the seed for your chosen people to grow. You raised him from the farthest corner of the world, selected him among an obscure people, and called him when he had no knowledge of you. In him, you planted a seed of faith, prosperity, and a new community.
Dear Father, with utmost humility this morning, plant in me a seed that will grow and lift me to your desired standards. Sow a seed that will make me a father/mother of great people just as you did for Abraham and Sarah, who despite their age, received a son.
When Satan sows seeds of debts, curses, rejection, character assassination, injustices, promiscuity, denials, barrenness, alcoholism, violence, and lack of promotion, crush them and prevent them from taking root in me, for I am your land.
Implant in me the seeds of joy, fulfillment, acceptance, financial stability, healing, and job opportunities. Father, may your seeds grow abundantly like the Mustard seed to become mighty trees. Let the seeds that the evil one may have sown in me wither away, and may your seeds flourish.
Work within me as you did with Abraham. Grant me a pliable heart to accept your work within me.
