I thought I would share also my response also here .
Most people are actually are caught in between buying a house or build a house .
This is kind a tough decision to make.
First of all,I would not advise someone to rent if you have the financial capability to own a home.
But some client would be like "but my work area is in Westlands , Upper hill etc ,I would advise you to purchase an Apartment even if you decide not to reside their fully ,you can always rent it out.
Coz at the end of the day even if you stay 20 yrs,that house you will leave it to the landlord.
Secondly , buying a house its good but it depends on your taste and priorities.
So they are people who prefer buying a ready built house to avoid the stress of being conned by fundis . Building a house is very tedious.
Also probably you may want to reside in this high end areas, Kitusuru,Runda etc.
You can imagine if you to decide to build , you will have to buy a land which is very expensive and then build .If you are in a tight budget that won't work for you,So in that scenario, you can decide to buy a ready built house home,if you truly desire to reside in those areas.
Other people loving buying a ready built house because of security especially in these gated community
Lastly, Building your own house, for me I feel like it's the best for me,coz you are able to design and customize your house they way you want.And also you have full privacy .
So I would advise anyone looking to becoming a home owner to weigh their options on the one that suits them the best.

Most people ask how do i know if a land is genuine:
Conduct your due diligence
1.By doing the search of the land.
This will help you to know the nature of the land ,the registered owner and If its freehold or leasehold
If its leasehold know the duration of the term.

2.Know if the seller has paid the land rates.The land rates should be fully paid by the seller before purchase and transfer.

Half of the year gone, for me it's time of reflection
We have had a lot of challenges as a country here in Kenya from floods to Maandamano.
And as an individual,you might have encountered hardship here and there.
That is part of life, you fall and rise Again
The Bible says better a living dog than a dead lion.
The fact that you are alive, you have the opportunity to achieve anything.
And never mind what people say, people will always talk all the time.
When I started business ,I took a step of faith.
I never knew how to navigate into it.
I was like "Sasa nitaanza aje,i never focused on the things i don't have.I just started.
Right now, am very glad I took that bold step.
Sometimes you have to overcome the fear
You want to start business,start it!!
Just start with what you have
What if i fail,?? Even if you fail, you will not be the first one
If it's investment, Have you taken a bold step and gone for house tours, they are free of charge .
Do you know even know the price of the land or house on the area you intend to buy
Have you gone for a window shopping of land and houses.
You know everything starts from your mind.
There is power in manifestation
Have a blessed half year.
